Morning light across a quiet American main street with local shops.

Built by operators, for owners.

We started Kolt Holdings because thousands of good businesses are for sale as their owners retire, and most buyers bring money but little else. We bring decades of running businesses, and the work.

Why we started Kolt.

We have built and run companies together for more than a decade: tax-credit advisory firms, AI voice and language companies, a trucking operation, a tree farm, a landscape materials yard. Today we run Group Advisors, which serves employers with benefits, payroll and compliance programs on software we built ourselves. That work puts us in front of business owners every day.

We kept meeting owners with strong businesses and no time to modernize them: no clear numbers, no marketing, processes that live in one person’s head. The businesses were good. They were not yet built to lead.

So we set out to buy a few of them, anywhere in the USA, and do the work ourselves: research first, then the Blueprint, then better operations, marketing and connections. Kolt Holdings is that plan.

Five rules we work by.

  • Research before money

We learn the market, the business and the competition before we make an offer. Opinions come after facts.

  • The team is the business

Customers stay because of the people who serve them. We invest in those people first.

  • Fix the system, not the person

When something goes wrong, we look at the process and the tools before we look for blame.

  • Measure what matters

Every business gets a short set of numbers that everyone can see and understand.

  • Say it plainly

To owners, staff and investors alike: what we know, what we do not, and what we will do next.

More than capital.

  • We have run businesses for decades

Phone systems, call centres, AI companies, trucking, tax advisory. We know what a Monday morning looks like in a small business, because we have had thousands of them.

  • We research whole markets, not a few listings

AI systems we run ourselves read every public business listing in a market and run the same 39 public-record screening checks on each one, so we find the right fit faster and see the market an owner is selling into.

  • We bring the tools and the customers

Automation, integration, websites and local SEO, built and operated by us. And an employer network that is a ready audience for the services our businesses sell.

The founders.
